Frequently Asked Questions
How many training programmes do you offer?
At present, we offer one programme: Arabic Language Teaching Methodology.
We organise several training sessions throughout the year, approximately every three months.
Do I need any specific qualifications or skills?
Yes. You should have a good command of Arabic and an adequate level of French.
Does completing this training guarantee employment?
When positions are available, we recruit new teachers directly after they complete their training. However, we cannot offer employment to every graduate.
Participants are responsible for applying for jobs and pursuing employment opportunities, but we also provide assistance through the resources available to us.
Depending on recruitment needs and qualification requirements, you may have opportunities to teach in Arabic language schools, French schools, associations and other educational institutions.
I live far away. Can I take the course remotely?
Yes. If you live far from our institute or your personal circumstances prevent you from attending in person, you can choose the online training option.
We use Skype, Google Meet and WhatsApp to ensure that the training runs smoothly.
How much does the training cost?
The training fee is €880 for three months of training.
You can pay at our centre in cash or by cheque, either in one payment or in three instalments.
Please contact us for more information.
Can I attend a trial session before enrolling?
Yes. We offer the opportunity to attend a trial session if you wish.
Simply call us or send us an email explaining your request.
Where can I work after completing the training?
You can work primarily in institutions that teach Arabic.
You can also teach online through platforms such as www.superprof.com.
Alternatively, you can establish your own independent teaching business.
Is this training funded by Pôle Emploi?
No. We are not affiliated with Pôle Emploi (the French public employment service).
I have 20 years of teaching experience in my home country. Can I obtain the certificate without attending the training?
No. Our teaching methodology differs from the approaches commonly taught in traditional educational institutions.
However, by completing our training, you can obtain a certificate that may help strengthen your professional profile and support your employment prospects in France, where foreign qualifications are not always recognised.
Who is this training intended for?
This training is intended for anyone who wishes to teach Arabic to non-native speakers.
A secondary school leaving qualification (equivalent to the French Baccalauréat) is preferred but not compulsory, provided you can understand our classes, which are taught in Modern Standard Arabic.
Does this training lead to a recognised qualification?
We do not award a state-recognised diploma. Instead, we issue a professional certificate whose value is based on the reputation and experience of our institute.
We have trained hundreds of Arabic language teachers who are currently working in various locations across France.
As a result, many schools place considerable value on our certification.
When will the next training session take place?
We start a new training session whenever a new group of participants is formed.
By recommending our programme to friends or colleagues, you can help us form groups more quickly and organise additional sessions.
I am enrolled in the in-person programme, but sometimes I cannot attend classes. Can I attend a session online instead?
Yes, absolutely.
If you miss an in-person session, we offer two ways to catch up:
Attend a session online.
Watch a video recording of the session you missed.
What payment methods do you accept?
If you enrol in person at the administration office of our Formation Avenir Institute in La Courneuve, you can pay by cash or cheque.
For remote enrolment, you can choose from the following payment methods:
Cheque sent by post
PayPal
Bank transfer
Are you looking for teachers to join your team?
Yes. When vacancies arise, we recruit qualified teachers who have graduated from our institute.
Can I work in public educational institutions with this certificate?
To teach in public educational institutions in France, you must also hold at least a Bachelor's degree (Licence), subject to the specific requirements of the position.
I cannot afford the training fee. Can I receive financial assistance from my local council?
Financial assistance may be available in certain circumstances.
We recommend contacting your local council or relevant local authority to find out whether you are eligible for support.
